In EUREQA, every question is constructed through an implicit reasoning chain. The chain is constructed by parsing DBPedia. Each layer comprises three components: an entity, a fact about the entity, and a relation between the entity
and its counterpart from the next layer. The layers stack up to create chains with different depths of reasoning. We verbalize reasoning chains into natural sentences and anonymize the entity of each layer to create the question.
Questions can be solved layer by layer and each layer is guaranteed a unique answer. EUREQA is not a knowledge game: we adopt a knowledge filtering process that ensures that most LLMs have sufficient world knowledge to answer our questions.
EUREQA comprises a total of 2,991 questions of different reasoning depths and difficulties. The entities encompass a broad spectrum of topics, effectively reducing any potential bias arising from specific entity categories.
These data are great for analyzing the reasoning processes of LLMs
PerformanceHere we present the accuracy of ChatGPT, Gemini-Pro and GPT-4 on the hard set of EUREQA across different depths d of reasoning (number of layers in the questions). We evaluate two prompt strategies: direct zero-shot prompt and ICL with two examples. In general, with the entities recursively substituted by the descriptions of reasoning chaining layers, and therefore eliminating surface-level semantic cues, these models generate more incorrect answers. When the reasoning depth increases from one to five on hard questions, there is a notable decline in performance for all models. This finding underscores the significant impact that semantic shortcuts have on the accuracy of responses, and it also indicates that GPT-4 is considerably more capable of identifying and taking advantage of these shortcuts.

Moreover, the very concept of a "Kurdish" translation is complicated by political fragmentation. A publisher in Iraqi Kurdistan might produce a Sorani translation, but that edition would face significant obstacles reaching Kurmanji speakers in Turkey or Syria. Conversely, a Kurmanji edition published in Europe might struggle to reach readers in the homeland.
The story follows Anastasia Steele, a college student who enters a complex, BDSM-oriented relationship with billionaire Christian Grey. Critical Consensus:
The high volume of searches for Western adult dramas in Kurdish highlights a generational divide. Young Kurds, deeply connected to global digital trends via TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, actively seek out global media. They utilize VPNs and private digital networks to access content that traditional Kurdish broadcasting filters out. 3. The Digital Diaspora and Kurdish Fan Culture

Informal and formal translations of E.L. James's trilogy have circulated in Kurdish literary circles, challenging traditional boundaries of romance literature in the region.
The lack of a Kurdish translation is not a simple oversight. It is the result of powerful forces operating at two distinct levels: deep-rooted social taboos and formal state censorship.
At first glance, the phrase sounds like an absurdist meme—a collision of E.L. James’s glossy pop-erotica and the rugged, mountainous reality of the Kurdish people. But linger on it. Let it settle. “Fifty Shades of Grey Kurdish” isn’t about silk ties or red rooms. It is a chromatic study of survival. Moreover, the very concept of a "Kurdish" translation

This is the oldest grey. The limestone of the Zagros, Taurus, and Qandil mountains. It is the colour of a shepherd’s cloak at dawn, worn for three generations. This grey is stoic, patient, and sharp-edged. It smells of rain on stone and tastes of wild thyme. It is the grey of the peshmerga — “those who face death” — not in shiny uniforms, but in woollen trousers that blend into the scree. This grey does not scream; it endures.
